DIMENSIONAL EQUIVALENCE:
For the MICHELIN Enduro and MICHELIN Desert ranges, the
size designation is based on the width of the tyre measured at
the widest point of the tread.
For the MICHELIN StarCross 6, MICHELIN Tracker, MICHELIN
Trial Light and MICHELIN Xlight ranges, the size designation is
based on the width of the tyre measured at the widest point of
the sidewall
A 1209018 MICHELIN Enduro Medium therefore corresponds
to a 10010018 MICHELIN StarCross 6 size
The alphanumeric system is still used on certain Harley
Davidson
®
and other American custom bike tyres.
